Recently a huge water outage effected the Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. area. My Facebook wall was exploding with status updates like this: “We have no water! I need a shower! I can’t cook!” This inconvenient drama occurred at no better time, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! Talk about bad timing.
This episode can teach us a few key survival techniques.. as in how to prepare for lack of water or no water. This basic necessity becomes serious business when you have kids, pets or both to care for, so being prepared is a good idea.
After hurricanes Jeane and Francis we had no power or water for 2 weeks, and sence then have had several incidences where water has been restricted or unavailable.
These keys products are a great way to be prepared for when it happens again, because trust me.. it will happen again. Look at it like this, we buy auto insurance, life insurance, health insurance, homeowners insurance, renters insurance.. shouldn’t we insure our survival?
A camp shower is a excellent item to have, and are very inexpensive.
